Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a country music singer/songwriter. She released two singles in 2007 and an album called Satisfied. The year 2013 saw her launched her second album titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake Shelton in the year 2015. The singer-songwriter released The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for over 15 years, and spent the majority of that time as deputy city manager in Iowa City. Her current duties as Assistant Village Manager are to oversee the operation of the Community Development and Building Department in coordinating grant applications and working on special projects. Ashley is involved in the day-to-day operation of Riverside services, as well as in the implementation of the community's elected officials' goals. Ashley's previous positions included the planning of municipal services, public communications, budgeting, personnel management as well as collective negotiations. The focus was also on actions to combat climate change. Ashley is able to draw on her experience working with a range of community and national institutions. She has also gained insight in the ways in which public organisations function. Ashley's instruction focuses on current approaches to governance and management in public organizations from the standpoint of a seasoned practitioner. Ashley's emphasis on adjusting to current challenges and opportunities as well as navigating intergovernmental and community relations, and making ethical decisions gives context to both new professional and current employees in public institutions.
