Taurus Tremani Bartlett, better known by the stage name Polo G is an American musician and rapper. The most well-known of his works is his hit song Pop Out. Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot as he is commonly referred to from Chicago Illinois started to gain popularity after releasing songs on YouTube. The first tracks he released were like The Come Up and Never Cared and made his debut on SoundCloud with the mixtape OFFICIAL POLO.G SOUND CLOUD. Gang With Me, his debut single, was followed by his hit single Finer things. Finer Things was written when he was in prison. His breakthrough song, it contains millions of YouTube hits and brought his name to the limelight. Record labels from major companies were beginning to take notice. He finally signed a distribution deal with Columbia Records and released Pop Out featuring Lil Tjay. It received millions of views on YouTube and climbed to number 22 in the Billboard Hot 100 marking the first chart-topping song by the rapper. Polo G rose to fame for his work as a YouTube celebrity and earned some recognition across other platforms, such as Instagram as well as Twitter.
