Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has left a lasting impression on the screen. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles on local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite her small roles, she discovered her passion to act. She moved into New York and in 2001 she scored her first acting gig in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of the decade She appeared on small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast in her first series part in The Mountain which was a short-lived television drama. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on for 85 of the episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she won an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performances on a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time after. The role was Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather dramatic dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After a couple of episodes the show ended up being cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress was born Italian and has a 10-year-old younger brother called Cory. Her family was an environment that was strict and extremely religious. Milano launched her acting career at the age of seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her in an audition. The audition was attended by four girls out of more than 1000 hopefuls. Milano appeared in TV commercials and off Broadway shows, like the American first adaptation musical from Jane Eyre.
