Nicole Ari Parker, an American actor who has appeared in film and television and on stage, is most well-known for portraying Teri Joseph, a flamboyant lawyer in the show Showtime's Soul Food. Following her wedding, she was Nikki Kodjoe. From the time she was a child, Nikki Kodjoe was a natural actor. In a Maryland contest for high school students she won the award for the best Actress. Contractor Born in Mumbai in India and grew up in Nigeria up until she turned seven. She'd been exposed to numerous travel experiences and other cultures since a young age. She was a boarding student in London between seven and nine years old, then her family relocated towards Toronto, Canada, where she spent the majority of her youth and early adulthood. Contractor was a wonderful student in Toronto and was educated to become the classical ballet dancer. She attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts - a specialized arts high school that taught not just dance but also theatre. Contractor was 16 when she realized that acting was going to be her future career. She danced for almost 10 year. She accepted a full-scholarship to attend the University of Toronto after graduating. She earned a master's degree in theater and double majored in sociology and psychology. Contractor attended the highly-regarded Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Canada, for Pericles. After a full year of auditions, she was offered the lead part. In 2002, Canadian reviewers praised her performance during 92 performances of Pericles. She was offered the opportunity to be a part of the Stratford Conservatory, which allows only eight males and four women for a crash course in classical theater. Contractor was ecstatically accepted. She was scheduled to perform in the following season of plays was confirmed, and she received the role of Hermia from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
